Body Candy Haul

BodyCandy.com is the only place I go for my piercings. Since I have highly sensitive skin, this site and I became best friends real quick. They have everything you could ever ask for, and more. AND its freakishly inexpensive. Endless choices of metals and plastics for each skin type. Not to mention so many colors and styles. Its piercing heaven.
Then there is free shipping on orders $20 or more. Usually you can find a code for an additional 10-20% off your order, making it so much sweeter.

Here are a few things that I got in my order last week:
(Mainly because I lost all of my rings, and I had to get new ones. I really need to stop losing things.)

$0.99
These are my absolute favorite tongue rings. Simple and amazing. It is the perfect size. The the end balls are tiny and barely touch the roof of my mouth. Its not overbearing. I love it.
Sully Photobomb
$2.99
I also love this tongue ring very much. Instead of getting clear acrylic or retainers, I get the pink acrylic. It blends better to your natural tongue color. It's a perfect color for when you want to conceal your piercing. Perfect for interviews, jobs, or whenever you need to hide it. I still have friends realizing I have this piercing after getting it done over two years ago. WIN.

$0.99
Honestly, I got this one for shits' n' giggles. Probably will wear this very rarely. The finger part of the barbell is very thick and clunky. Too big for my taste. I would have to practice enunciating so I don't sound like I have a lisp. I wish the finger drawing was a bit thicker or darker. It was hard to realize what it was when I was looking in the mirror.

$1.99
Basic white/clear nose ring. Does it job and looks wonderful.

$1.99

Let's be real. I could barely tell a difference between this one and the clear/white one. Sparkly and tiny. I love it.

$1.99  x 2
Hoops there it isssss. I couldn't help it.
Last time I tried a 5/16", and it was a little too small; Now this hoop is perfect for my nose. Very comfortable and non-irritating.

$2.99  x 2
Same for this hoop. Before I bought a 5/16" and it was too small. Now it is on point. Let's be real, gold is my color. (I know it says yellow, but it comes off looking like gold.) I think I will live in this one until the end of time.

Cartilage - Clear Gem Eagle Bird Helix
$5.99
This was a total splurge. I have been adding and removing this from my cart for years. I finally caved and bought it; and I LOVE it. It's classy, edgy, hippie or whatever style you're into. It fits with so many different outfits. But it is a little bit heavier than other cartilage earrings. Not significantly, where you think your ear is going droop. To me it felt like some of my hair was slightly pushing on my ear. After a few minutes I was used to the slight weight and got so many compliments. Very worth it.

Subtotal - $26.89
Shipping - Free
(I got my items in about 3 days)
Discount - $-4.03
TOTAL - $22.86
for 11 items, making it
$2.44 an item

Have I mentioned I love bodycandy.com? Inexpensive jewelry for a great product. I never had an allergy or had any pieces tarnish. I really trust this site. Check it out!

What piercings do you have? What ones do you want next?

The struggle is real.

This is so true.
I am glad I am not the only person who does this IRL.
I always hope that person will love the book as mush as I do.
Does you do or feel like this?

Sketch! by France Belleville-Van Stone

This book is not only for artists. It is for everyone. Any one who is curious about the art world. If even a little bit of you wants to learn how to draw or try something new, check this book out. Don't be discouraged about your level of your"art", we all have had to start from the beginning.

Sketch! by France Belleville-Van Stone

For more images, videos, examples, and excerpts.

Synopsis:
While personally, her art isn't my style. I really enjoyed the book. I liked her ideas and thought process. She talks about how she started in the beginning and grew to where she is now. (I wish we could have seen some of those drawings). She tells us how in the beginning she was doing art that is considered "great art". Everyone wants to do "great art", But how can we justify what is "great art"?? She then realized she wants to do what she wants.

Wether or not the world says its "great" or not. I mean, seriously, who can tell you wether your art is "great" or not?! It might not be great to one person, but It can be kick ass to others. Art is completely subjective. You're supposed to be having fun with it. Not feeling judged and worried about people liking or not liking it. /endrant

She shows different techniques and ideas. Though, if you're a beginner, I suggest you only grab some pencils and paper and DRAW. Don't worry about expensive supplies or perfection. Its about experimentation and having a blast! Finding your style and who you are. c:

"And the more I drew, the less of a big deal drawing became. I no longer needed to be in the right mood, with the perfect lighting , or be in the right place. I drew everywhere" - Sketch! pg.5

Not going to lie, her images of examples intimidated me, and I am going for my BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts). It's a good book to tell you to keep drawing; and never stop drawing. Overall this book is fun and shows different ways to art. And never stop practicing. You can never learn too much. By the time you think you learn everything in art, is when you realized you learned nothing. It's an ever growing experience.

"The books offers no magic formulas and no shortcuts. There is no escaping the fact that drawing is about drawing. But the laborious process of growing as an artist does not necessarily equate to tedious assignments. There is where our every day life comes in, When you get into the habit of drawing you experience the joy of observation of contemplation, not just watching but seeing." -Sketch! pg. 13

Here is a look of some of the pages from inside the book:
(I found these off google)

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this honest review.

GLAMGLOW - 2 BRIGHTMUD Eye Treatments - $11.70
3 minute treatment. For Men and women, and all skin types. For dark circles, brightening, line, tired eyes, puffiness, hydrating, and plumping. Sounds really interesting, I can't wait to use it. and I LOVE the packaging. It's so spunky and fun.
EDIT: I finally have tried it. Warning, it looks horrible, it doesn't smell nice, and there is this burning tingling feeling when you leave it on for the time allotted. I don't know how to rate the irritation of it on a scale; I have a higher pain threshold. I know people people don't like these aspects when looking for a treatment. But if I was a millionaire, I would buy this. My dark circles are instantly gone. My eyes seem brighter and better. I don't know how to explain it.
30% off any purchase at glamglowmud.com. Enter code: IPSYFEB30 at checkout. Expires 3/31/15. Valid in US only. Offer cannot be combined with any other offers. Valid one time per customer. Cannot be applied to a previous purchase. Offer excludes cleansers, eGift cards, kilts, and sets.

ModelCo - BLUSH Cheek Powder in Peach Bellini - $11?
I found a better picture of the color I received on their website. (shown above). Perfect timing! I've been needing a more spring time and peachy-pink blush. I love this color. Its soft and a light pink. Great for my skin tone.  ALSO: Very high pigmented. A little goes a very very very very long way
20% off and free shipping on orders $39 or more at modelcocosmetics.com. Enter code: IPSY20 at checkout. Expires 3/31/15. Cannot be combined with any other offers and for orders $39 or more. One time use only and cannot be applied to a previous purchases.

City Color Cosmetics - Creamy Lip Stain in Flirtini - $4.99
When I opened my IPSY bag, It was really late at night, after a horrific online exam and long day at school. I was fried to the max. I was so excited to see a lip gloss, I couldn't wait and I had to apply it that very second. The color was on point. Minutes later I passed out in bed. Waking up the next day, I was wondering why my lips were to dry. Getting up brushing my hair, I look into the mirror. EEP, The horror! Why are my lips so red?! Then It hit me. It was the lip gloss, weird. Taking a closer second glace, it's a LIP STAIN. Oh man, I'm never trying something new so late at night. I completely forgot to put on any lip balm, so the stain dried my lips out to the max. I am still trying to get them back to full health. But this taught me something...(TL;DR) This lip stain works. If it can stay on my lips all night with my drooling, tossing and turning, and dog kisses, then this is the gloss I want where ever I go. Remember: condition your lips before and after. The chapped-ness not fun.
20% off any purchase at citycolorcosmetics.com. Enter code: ISPY20CL at checkout. Expires 3/31/15. Offer valid in US and Canada only. Cannot be combined with any other offers. One time use only. Cannot be applied to a previous purchase. Free shipping is available to US continental residents only with purchase over $50. ($50 before tax and after applied discounts). Other shipping rates are available to review on website for more information.

China Glaze - Nail Polish in Marry a Millionaire - $6.99
WOO. IPSY really stepped up their game. They usually send an off-brand nail polish, but this... EVEN BETTER. Ah, I am so excited! Pictures of this polish give it no justice. It is so vibrant and vivid. I love it. Perfect for spring time. Makes me feel like I have mermaid nails. I only used one coat of glitter. It is almost opaque with glitter, which is rare in a glitter nail polish. I am using Essie in Barefoot in Blue as my nail color (which I won in one of their facebook promotions a year ago c: ) then the China Glaze.

Luxie Beauty - Large Angled Face Brush 504 - $16
This brush is awesome. Not only is it pink, but I have been needing an angled brush. Spring and summer are here, and it's time for the contouring to begin. the bristles feel like bunny butts on my face. Bad imagery, I know. The softness and blend-ability is great. Thank you IPSY for this brush.

Total- $34.68 for $10 a month!

Overall

Beauty Talk Time:
IPSY, how I love thee. This bag was perfect, for me anyway. You have no idea how happy I was to not get any lotion. So happy. Of course now my mom will be sad; I send her my lotions. c: Not to mention that bag is completely adorable and chic. I love the pattern on it.
There are day, where I wish I was a millionaire. So I can send these bags/subscriptions to every lady in need. It's nice to get pampered and treated. Especially when you can't afford it, because you're paying for rent, bills, or everything their kids need. Ladies who put other needs in front of themselves deserve to look their best, because they the best.  Someday, maybe. c: /rant
I think I will start doing "looks" with items in the bag. So everyone can know what the colors actually look like. You can never trust a bottle. Never ever.

Eighteen year old Tatum Krause wants nothing more than to finish her senior year without any more drama. After the near overdose of her drug abusing mother the previous year, she moved out in the hopes of making something better for herself. However, the week before her final year, she ends up needing the help of a sexy stranger who’s about to flip her world on its axis.
Jacoby Ryan only wants one thing: to forget his past. The last two years have been filled with empty feelings and women in an attempt to stem the heartache and guilt. He’s ghosted blindly through the motions until late one night, he finds a car stalled on the side of an empty highway where he meets a beautiful girl with a haunted look in her eyes.
She has a secret, but so does he. Despite their magnetic pull, the two come to the shocking revelation their relationship isn’t so black and white. Is it possible to fight a bone-deep attraction when the entire universe is telling you it’s wrong?

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00069]

about the author

A.M. Wilson fell in love with writing in second grade when she won a young writers’ contest. She spent the years following carrying around a spiral notebook, which she filled with poetry and short stories detailing the dramatics of being a young girl. When she hit her college years, she set the notebooks down and fell in love with reading romance novels. She may have attended college four separate times in four different fields, but always knew in her heart writing was her true passion. She grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and spent her summers in the cold waters of Lake Superior, but relocated to the Twin Cities with the love of her life and has two spirited children who make her world go round.

Free eBooks on Kindle / Amazon

Being a college student, I am strapped for cash. But I love to shop. So I found the next best thing. Free eBooks on Amazon. I not only "shop" for books, but I get to expand my library. Some of these books are pretty amazing, and well some are duds. You can't really complain, They're FREE! And with them being free, I don't mind adding every book. I can always delete it, and re-find it in my eBook Orders.

I'm thinking about making this a weekly thing. Or maybe only when I find something really amazing and too good to be true of a deal. We shall see! So many times these free books are for a limited time, so I will try my best.

Here are some free books that I read and loved, or books that are very popular with high ratings that I added to my TBR:

Debt Inheritance (Indebted #1) by Pepper Winters
Amazon // Goodreads
For a VERY LIMITED TIME. This is a promotional sale, to amp up the hype of the 4th book in this series coming out in a few days.

Opposing Sides (University Park Series #1) by C.M. Doporto
Amazon //  Goodreads
I actually read the whole series and this is a good contemporary college romance book. Book 3 was eh, but I still cannot wait for book 4 to come out. Yikes! I need to do a review of these ASAP.

The Ghost Files by Apryl Baker
Amazon // Goodreads
Rumor has it this might become a movie or tv show soon.

Seven Sons (Gypsy Brothers #1) by Lili St. Germain
Amazon // Goodreads
This has been recommended to me many many many times. Tons of people rave about this book. I cant wait to dive into this.

These are all the exceptional books I found tonight. But go and look for yourself. Everyone likes different things, and I may have passed by they perfect book for you. Good luck! And share any good books you find.
